• I’m having so much trouble with my admin being so slow.

I already use a caching plugin that makes my front end super fast, but my dashboard stays slow obviously because I’m not caching admin pages.

I’m reading everywhere about how people with a slow admin disabled object cache and things are so much faster.

I cannot figure out for the life of me how to disable it though because I am not using WP Total Cache which apparently has a simple check-box to disable the object cache.

How do I turn this off? Is there a wp-config.php definition I can put in or what?

I want to see if this will help my situation as I have tried a countless number of other fixes, some which have worked marginally, but nothing like I’m hearing about for people who managed to disable the object cache.

There is little to no documentation on how to turn it off if you don’t have W3TC.

*Note: I’ve done all the normal things like disable each and every plugin and reactivate one by one to see if the dashboard speed changes, installing fresh wp-admin wp-includes and everything else after deleting the old ones, etc etc etc. I won’t even go on because I’ve done it all. I don’t need other suggestions I just need to know how or if there is a way to disable the object cache without having W3TC installed.
