my site has been hacked, i think, i keep receiving hundreds of New User registrations. i disabled my subscriber plugin and page and changed my password but am still barraged with New users

what should i do please?

Hello,

Check that the ‘Membership’ setting is unticked with the ‘Anyone can register’ checkbox under Settings -> General.
