How to disable related products

I am using the Kadence Ascend Theme with Booster for Woocom enabled.
I also have the Woocom stacked products extension and the Woocom Components products extension as well.
I have several products that are used as a Component Product of a Composite Product only. These variable components have been hidden in the catalog and hidden in the shop but they still show up under related products at the bottom of every shop page. You cannot buy these component products individually, yet they still show up.
This is what I have tried already with no luck:
I have turned the RP off in Appearance/Theme Options.
I have disabled the RP module in Woocom Settings.
They still showed up.
I then tried to re-enable the module but selected “hide RP” checked. still no luck.
I then tried to enter the products I want hidden in the hide products meta box. And they still show.
I entered 0 as the number of RP to show and 0 as the number of RP columns. And I still get 3 related products showing.
I also tried to enter all these products into a special category and then hid that category and still no luck.
I also tried “clear all product transients” with no luck as well.
I can increase the number of related products shown to any number above 3, but I cannot get them to show anything less than 3.
