how to disable RTE Editor?

  • I’ve searched, but found nothing that helps.

    The RTE is eating my code. I want it gone. I know xhtml inside and out, and it’s just a hinderence.

    I’m using 2.0.2.

    I have UNCHECKED
    options->writing->formatting->”Users should use the visual rich editor by default”

    but i still get the RTE.

    how do i get rid of this thing?
