    Hello,
Could you please tell me how to disable the Monstersights WordPress Site Health notifications for “AMP pages are not being tracked” and “Automatic updates are disabled”? I track AMP differently and proactively update my plugins manually, but these notifications keep showing up, and they are annoying.

    Hi @wppit,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry about the frustration here.

Since the AMP Addon is part of the paid version of MonsterInsights, could you please drop us a line through our contact page if you haven’t already?

I apologize that we’re not able to respond to paid version questions here in the www.ads-software.com support forums for the free version, but I really appreciate your help!

    Thanks ??

@devmich Hello, I don’t think I have to use the contact form because this is happening in the free version of the plugin.
I just need you to tell me how do I remove the notifications from the WordPress Health information page.
    Thanks,

    Hi @wppit,

My mistake! You’re correct. I appreciate the extra info.

The reason these notifications are showing up right now is because our goal is to help ensure website owners have the most accurate statistics, which includes whether AMP pages are being tracked. And, by default, MonsterInsights does not enable automatic updates out of the box and needs to be manually turned on. As a result, we include notices because some users aren’t aware of it and can benefit greatly.

I apologize that there isn’t a way to hide those notifications in our free version. In case it helps, our AMP addon, as part of our paid version, does let you get around this (on top of our paid version adding other super handy tracking features). We’re unable to share details about paid version features here (www.ads-software.com policy), but you’re welcome to reach out at https://monsterinsights.com/contact/ and we’d be happy to share more about this.

I’m sorry we don’t have a way to do what you’re looking for in our free version, but I hope these details are helpful.

    Thanks.

@devmich Thank you for your response. Would you be kind to provide a function filter that can be applied to the theme to disable these notifications?
    Thank you,

    Hi @wppit,

I checked in with our team and we don’t currently have a filter to hide them at this time. I’m sorry about that.

I agree these notifications are very annoying. It breaks our workflow seeing all these popups. Additionally, they confuse other users who are logged in to the back end of our clients websites. We are considering removing the plugin completely.

this needs to be fixed or have an option to disable them.

This is becoming a really intrusive plugin, both with popups and site health messages. Not cool. GA 4 switch in almost a year isn’t a “critical issue,” for site health. I have weathered so many analytics changes, and this is NOT where this notice belongs. And the multiple upgrade popups in the admin feel super spammy. Sigh, time to find an alternative.
