how to disable temporary for woocommerce generating action scheduler?

    i accidentally pressed “product attributes lookup table regeneration” in woocommerce -> status -> tools

    and now its generating action for “woocommerce_run_product_attribute_lookup_update_callback”
    which i don’t need it for now, since my website is still not available for public.

    how to stop woocommerce for temporarily disable generating action scheduler, because it is used so many resource.

    i have been able to stop the action executing the scheduler, what i want is to disable for woocommerce for generating the action scheduler
    thank you.

  • Hello,

    In general please note that disabling the Action Scheduler is not recommended because WooCommerce as well as other major plugins rely on this to run scheduled tasks.

    Even if the actions are scheduled to run every minute, once the pending tasks are completed it means no extra resources will be used on your site

    You can check at WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions to determine if there are a large number of pending tasks.

    You can use the plugin WP Crontrol to manage the scheduled tasks much better, while I understand some actions take some time to be completed there is no reason to be alarmed.
