Hi. Is there a way how to disable the hower effect?

(BTW, this is really great gallery plugin. I am a photographer and I admire galleries that doesnt crop images and keep the original aspect ratio.)

Or can I change the hover effect to something more subtle (something like this: https://www.bill-cahill.com/PORTFOLIO/LIQUID/thumbs)?

    Hi,

I’m going to add a option to set hover effect. I placed your proposal on my TODO list.

That would be awesome. Thank you.

    really, really good stuff!
Only the mouse over is really annoying.
Any hint, how to change this in somethign rather common?

Or did you manage already to add teh option?

    Cheers

What’s the manual way of disabling/modifying the hover effect?

I was able to hide it with .dgwt-jg-caption{display:none!important;} in my CSS

Thank you @curvetide you just saved me!

I too was able to hide the hover effect via CSS:

    .dgwt-jg-caption{display:none!important;}

Just add this rule at the end of your theme’s style.css, or better yet to your child-theme’s style.css.

@damian-gora please add this to the plugin’s settings to make it easier for users to disable/enable this feature. Awesome plugin, thanks for sharing.

    Hello,

Ok, I’m going to add option to disable default hover effect. It will be added in a few days in the next plugin release.

I released new version of Justified Gallery. Let’s update to v1.2.1.
To disable hover efect go to Justified Gallery (menu item) -> Tiles style (tab) and select Without styling for option Choose tiles style.
