How to disable the Max Mega Menu for mobile

    Hi there,

    I would like to use the default theme for the mobile header. Is there a way I can disable the mobile menu only?

    I am currently using Elementor & Astra as the theme and builder. Is there a snippet or somewhere I’m missing where I can disable that?

    Hi mharter3,

    The site is in maintenance mode so I can’t see what it looks like at the moment, but in general it is not possible to keep the mobile menu but replace the desktop menu (usually they are the same, just displayed differently based on browser width).

    If you are having problems with the mobile menu on Astra please check the last 4 screenshots on this page:

    Hi. I have followed instructions on the suggested page https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/astra/ but when I click on the widget the menu opens within the header bar, increasing its height, instead of opening below the header…
    Any idea?

    Hi Marco,

    Thanks. Please go to Mega Menu > Menu Themes > Mobile Menu and enable the “Overlay content” option. Alternatively you could set the Mobile Effect (under Appearance > Menus > Max Mega Menu Settings) to one of the Off Canvas options (they both overlay content by default).

    Hi Tom.
    So, enabling “Overlay content” solves the issue but the menu has the same width of the toggle button, even if I enable “Force full width” option.

    But setting the Mobile Effect to one of the Off Canvas options everything looks good.
