    Hi there,
I have been using this plugin for basic shipment tracking functionality, and it works well. I have recently started using PirateShip for discounted shipping rates.

As you know, PS will automatically change the order status to “shipped” (completed) when buying shipping from them. I see you discus this in your documentation. In that documentation you mention …

To avoid that, you can disable the shipped status option, and manually copy &paste the tracking info from the order notes to the shipment tracking panel and fulfill your orders.

I am wondering what the “disable the shipped status option” is referring to?

I only have a few orders a month, so I am not ready to invest US$129 a year into the pro version of your plugin (that’s around $230 in NZ, which is a lot for simply obtaining the PirateShip integration of your pro version).

If there is a way to prevent the status change, would you please elaborate? For a few shipments a month, I am fine with updating the status, and pasting in the tracking number, etc.

    Thanks very much,

    Jonathan

    Hi @inspired888,
We don’t have an integration with Piratship with AST Free so this option – “disable the shipped status option” is not relevant for the AST Free plugin.
You will need to manually add the tracking information from Piratship to the Shipment tracking order meta.
    Thanks

    Okay. Thanks for elaborating.

I’ll look into whether I can programatically prevent PirateShip from changing the status.
