How to Display a Blog Post Summary Instead of Full Text
-
I’m using the Twenty Fourteen default template (newbie WP user).
On my blog page, I would like for the main page to display the title of each post, or preferably the title and a few lines of the post, instead of the entire text of each post. My goal is to have people click on the post title to go to a page for that post so that the Share buttons will be available (they are not available under the post when the entire post’s text is showing on the main blog page).
I’ve look through all the Dashboard settings in Twenty Fourteen but don’t see a setting for this. (I see one for making RSS feeds a summary, but not for the main blog page.)
Thanks for any help!
