In the front end, we have column widget filter, through which a user can select which filter/category to display?
Is it possible to do the same thing in the back-end?
Say, I would like to display a table based on a filter/category from the columnwidgetfilter?

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

No, sorry, using the ColumnFilterWidgets Extension on the “Edit” screen of TablePress is not possible. The reason for this is that using the DataTables JS library is not possible there, as that has implications on how the table is saved.
I might be able to add this in the future, but I can’t promise it.

    Tobias

I did use ROW FILTER. But it is picking-up other ROWS & COLUMNS which have similar words. See if possible to have the COLUMNWIDGETFILTER as an option while defining the table itself, similar to other options.

    Hi,

The Row Filter Extension will also only work on the frontend (there is a Shortcode parameter to only filter in desired columns, by the way).
I agree that the ColumnFilterWidgets would be nice, but as mentioned as above it’s not that easy ??

    Regards,
    Tobias
