How to display ACF Google Maps

Hi there,

It doesn’t matter how many times I read the tutorial, I can’t figure out how to get a Google Map to display using ACF.

I’ve figured out how to add the field and the map shows up in the backend. But the tutorial found here is missing some instructions (at least for me): https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/google-map/

I’ve used code snippets to register my API. But then on the tutorial, there is the Google Maps helper code. Where do I put that? It’s a mix of CSS and JS so I’ve split it out into respective CSS and JS areas. But it just doesn’t work or it gives me a fatal error.

I also tried to use the step-by-step instructions found here, but I get an error on line 9 and can’t figure out how to fix it.

Can someone help me? I am not even looking to put markers on a map at this point. I just want to set it up so each destination page on my site shows the map that I have selected in the admin area.
