How to display bookmarks in drop down menu

  • I am setting up a wordpress blog for a client, he has a list of bookmarks (links of other sites) along with their categories like NEWS, ENTERTAINMENT, SPORTS, etc. But instead of list he wants each category to have a DROP DOWN MENU to choose a link from. Can anybody help me with the appropriate code. On wordpress documentation i found DROP DOWN MENU code for categories but i was unable to find for the BOOKMARKS.

    Please check the USEFUL LINK section on the right. As its very long the client want to use a drop down menu to show the LINKS of each section of the bookmarks.
