    Hello,

I have created various album categories and each category has 5 or 6 albums. I am trying to use the shortcode to display each category only side-by-side. Then, if a user clicks on the category, they should go to the page with all of the albums in the category that they selected. Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to work.

Instead, when I list each category ID, all of the albums in each category appear side-by-side in the grid.

The shortcode that I am using looks like this:

    [aigpl-gallery-album category=”1,2,3,4,5″ album_grid=”5″ show_title=”true” total_photo=”” limit=”-1″]

Is the code incorrect, or is it just not possible to show each category only side-by-side.

    Appreciate your time and assistance.

    -M

    Hello,

You have to click the album grid and then go to the category page(archive).
    > sorry, it’s not posible.

You have some miss understanding. actually, our plugin displays the category-wise album on your page and in case you are clicking album then you go to the album-related gallery, not another page.

If you pass the category id in the category parameter then it only this category-related album display.

    Thanks,

    Hi Ketan,

    Thanks for the response.

Would be great in future if we had the option to simply display album categories in a grid format where an image represents each category. Then, if a user clicks on the image that represents the album category, the user can see ALL of the albums in the category displayed as a grid on the page.

    Something to consider!

    Thank you
