How to display the total 'Likes' for a link to a post from a Facebook Page

Hi,

My client wants to display the total number of ‘Likes’ that her posts (or rather, links to her posts) receive when she adds them to her Facebook Page.

She currently uses a plugin to allow people to click a Like button next to the post on her blog, but this number is different than the number of Likes she gets on the blog’s Facebook Page. I understand why the number is different (readers simply Liking the post when they’re on her blog, vs. Liking the link posted on the blog’s Facebook Page), but she would prefer to display the number of Likes generated from the Facebook Page.

Is this even possible?

I’ve been hunting around for the past few days, and I’ve found lots on how to add the Like button on the blog post, but nothing on how to extract the likes from the Facebook Page.
