How to do a clean, code-less import from Blogger?
-
Hi all,
I’ve tried searching the web for the past few days, and I can’t find a decent, up-to-date solution.
The problem:
I’m trying to import a Blogger account in to WordPress. The user who posted in Blogger constantly changed the colour of the text, the size, font, etc…each paragraph is something different. The code is filled with <div>, %lt;span>, etc.How can I import all the posts (and comments), at the same time removing all inline styles such as: DIV, SPAN, B (STRONG) and I (EM)?
I’ve tried importing thru the built-in plugin, converting the feed, and so on.
Regular expression is a possible solution, but I just can’t get my head around it. And I don’t want to go thru the hassle if a better solution already exists.
Another thing that is always bugging me is how all comments and all post titles, after imported, come with a > (>) character ahead.
Any sort of help would be much appreciated as I believe others must have had this problem too.
Best regards,
Sean.
