You have the word right there in the title but I see no options for one in the plugin settings. Nor does it specify that is a paid for feature either in the dashboard or on the main metaslider site.
Am I missing something? If it’s in the title I’d expect a clue somewhere.

  • You should be able to create a carousel using the free version of the plugin.

Here’s a short recording on how to build a carousel slideshow https://share.getcloudapp.com/JruxP4AQ

    thank you.
Is there any way to get it to avoid it jerking back to the start? An actual carousel (like the horse kind) would just keep going like in a circle. When it hits the end it should show that first slide again, rather than jerking back. Is this a setting issue?

    Hi,

This is actually a limitation of the third-party JS slider that MetaSider is using. FlexSlider currently doesn’t allow the carousel to loop infinitely. But I can definitely understand why this would be a handy feature for you and other users.

This has already been added as a feature request.

To explain how we handle feature requests:

Feature requests go straight into a strategy board where they will be reviewed by the management team. We take certain factors into account when deciding which features to build and which to remain pending. This includes:
-How many people have requested the feature
-How many people will benefit from the feature
-The cost: benefit ratio (is it a lot of work for little end-user reward, or the opposite?)
-Our current workload (where does the feature request sit in terms of priority with other requested features and bug fixes).
-Rest assured that we try to deliver as many updates and new features as possible, but it’s simply not possible to build everything. We promise that every feature request is logged, will be subject to review, and we will endeavor to improve our software as best we can over time.

I hope this helps. Thank you for understanding, and please let me know if you have anything else we can help you with.
