• Can anyone tell me these 6 question ?

    1. Why it is essential to select “Post page” as a blog,
    2. If I don’t create these options then what happens?
    3. Should I create this “Blog” as a page or Category?
    4. If I don’t select “Static Page” then what happens?
    5. After creating this if I don’t want to show it in header sections on my website, is it possible?
    6. If I created this then all my posts will show in my category?

  • Let me address each of your questions:

    1. In WordPress, setting a specific page as the “Posts page” is essential if you want to display your blog posts on a separate page rather than on your website’s homepage. This allows you to have a static homepage with fixed content (e.g., an introduction or landing page), while your dynamic blog posts appear on a separate page.
    2. If you don’t select a specific page as your “Posts page,” WordPress will default to displaying your blog posts on the homepage. This means that your blog posts will be the first thing visitors see when they access your website’s URL.
    3. To clarify, you have two main options for displaying your blog posts: a) Create a dedicated “Blog” page: This involves creating a new page in WordPress and designating it as the “Posts page.” The page will display your latest blog posts. b) Use a “Category” archive page: Instead of creating a separate page, you can use a specific category (e.g., “Blog”) to display your posts. WordPress automatically generates category archive pages that collect all posts assigned to that category. Which option you choose depends on your website’s structure and design preferences. If you want more control over the layout and appearance of your blog page, creating a dedicated “Blog” page might be a better choice. On the other hand, using categories can be useful if you plan to organize your posts into different topics.
    4. If you don’t select a “Static Page” option in the WordPress settings, your homepage will display your latest blog posts by default. This means that your homepage will be dynamic and will show the most recent content from your blog.
    5. Yes, it is possible to customize the header section of your website in WordPress. How you can achieve this depends on the theme you are using and the level of customization options it offers. Most WordPress themes provide ways to modify the header through the WordPress Customizer or theme settings. You can often hide specific elements like the blog title, logo, or navigation menu from the header section if you wish to do so.
    6. If you decide to use a specific category (e.g., “Blog”) to display your posts, then only the posts that you assign to that category will show up on the category archive page. When creating or editing a blog post, you can select the relevant category (e.g., “Blog”) to ensure it appears on the corresponding category page. Other posts that belong to different categories won’t be displayed on this particular category page. However, they will still show up on the main blog page (if you have one) or the homepage (if you haven’t set a static page as the homepage).
