How to download and install plugins when no "page" option exists in dashboard

  • You should have a plugin tab in your dashboard and the ability to add a new one.
    If you don’t see this you may not have full admin rights. Did you install WordPress yourself or did someone do it for you. If someone else did, ask them to give you full admin rights so that you can install plugins.

    What Christine said is the most likely scenario.
    You can try and access the upload plugin page directly at:

    www. your wordpress .com /wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=upload
    and see what happens.
