how to drop some words/chars at the begining

Interesting, I never thought of it! I can look into adding this function – to display the content minus the first X words. Is that really of practical use..? ??

… for creating a custom excerpt (and the code for the “rest”of a text, if you display it e.g. in an accordion).

This was also a tricky request but I managed to include it in the new update. It should work how you described, a negative value will display the content minus the first X words. Solving this one felt like a good programming exercise. ??
