    Hi,

    I have situations like that:

Post X is in Y and Z category.

When I click Post X from Cat Y, the breadcrumbs look like this:

    page title > Cat Y > post X

When I click Post X from Cat Z, the breadcrumbs look like this:

    page title > Cat Y > post X

It still shows Cat Y even though I click the post from Cat Z

How can I force it to change category danymically from accessed category?

    Hello @vasenec,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m trying to replicate what you described locally; which of cat Y or cat Z did you assign as the primary category when post X was published?

Hello @vasenec, sorry it took some time to get back to you. Yoast SEO doesn’t have a feature to dynamically change the category shown in the breadcrumbs depending on which category it is accessed from.

Though post X belongs to cat Y and cat Z and cat Y is assigned as the primary category, that choice is reflected in the breadcrumbs path and permalink.
