How to easily customize font styles?

You can do this via CSS, the font listings at https://fonts.google.com will guide you through how to import a web font and assign it.

Or, a plugin like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/olympus-google-fonts/ will make that far easier.

I’m using the twenty twenty theme and have installed the google fonts plugin. I can change every font on the theme except the paragrahph font which is the only one I want to change. Any idea how I can change the paragraph font? So frustrating such a fundamentally basic thing is taking me hours without sucess ??

If you’re using https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/olympus-google-fonts/ the “Base Typography” option is what should control content fonts.

If not, I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/olympus-google-fonts/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

I agree, it is incredibly annoying that something as simple as changing the default paragraph font should require such gymnastics. Twenty Twenty seems to ignore every additional CSS rule, no matter where it’s placed.
Saying that, the Google Fonts Typography plugin is excellent and does the job very effectively.
