Hello,
Overrides require the original template file of a specific “View” (page) or “Widget” to be copied onto the dedicated override directory that gets created upon the first installation. We strongly recommend using the native “Overrides Manager” tool in the Configuration page in order to avoid mistakes, but in case you don’t like to use the WordPress native CodeMirror editor for PHP, but would rather use your own editor, then you could still start the override copy of a specific page/content by using the apposite tool, and then our interface will tell you the exact path where the copied file is located.
Alternatively, in the Knowledge Base section of our official website you can find the instructions related to the directories containing the original template files and their override directories.
We hope this helps!
