How to edit custom theme header

  • Our website was made with a custom theme 8 years ago and we want to update to our new logo. Any suggestions on how to do that here.

  • Hi, it would depend on what you’re wanting to update the logo to. If the new logo is the same size as the old (477 x 100 pixels) you can just replace the logo on your hosting server here:

    https://coahamilton.ca/wp-content/themes/hcoa/images/logo.png

    That will cause the theme to pull in the new logo to display on the site. If the new logo is a different size, you may need to adjust some of the CSS styling to get it to display correctly.

    If you are not familiar with using FTP to replace files, your hosting control panel most likely has a file manager option available where you can update your logo there.
