how to edit template

  • I can’t figure out how to get my slogan onto the top bar where the name of the blog is like
    name of blog
    then a couple more words about what the blog is about.
    I tried putting that info into line 12 but got a parse error.
    please advise.

  • Under this line:
    <div id=”rap”>
    is where you need to add information after the closing /h1 tag.
    It may take some playing with suitable tags to get the effect you want.
    The other way would be to create a seperate but smaller head div and insert some text into that, but then you would maybe need to alter the placement of the content div.
    If it really is just a few words, then have them appear at the top of the menu div by placing them directly underneath that in the index template.

    maybe it would be simpler and cleaner to place description in the ABOUT.
    but I do not see a way to creat an about header either that could echo blog description and BIO
    any ideas?
