How to edit the error message template

  • Is there a way to edit the template that the error message shows in when you try to submit a comment incorrectly, at the moment its just a blank page with a grey box and the error text, i would like it to look more like the rest of my site

    it looks like wp-comments-post.php uses the same css as the install process, i tried putting in my code to comments-post.php and modifying the style sheet install.css found at wp-admin/css/ but the outputted html just shows my code at the top without html headers then the headers, error message then ends the html ignoring code i put after the wordpress php

    if there isnt a way to edit the error message templates its a real shame as they are very confusing.
