Hello, I just installed and configured Complianz and generated the cookie page through the plugin itself, but Im seeing this message at the top of the page:

This Cookie Policy was last updated on February 19, 2024 and applies to citizens and legal permanent residents of the European Economic Area and Switzerland.

My users are not limited to that region, so:

    – How remove that?

    – How can I be sure that my cookie page is compliant with other countries/regioins?

    Hi @dm652,

The Free version of Complianz allows you to select a single targeting region/privacy law and generates a Cookie Policy tailored to that region. Whereas the Premium version allows you to select multiple regions/privacy laws, and generates separate documents for each of these.

So, while you could remove or alter that sentence (https://complianz.io/editing-legal-documents/), this doesn’t necessarily mean that the document also meets the requirements of other regions/privacy laws.

We would always recommend reaching out to a qualified legal professional to be sure that your site/documents are in compliance with applicable laws.

    Kind regards, Jarno
