• Hi,
at my OneDrive I have a picture which daily is updated. How can I embed this picture at my page?
Everytime I update the picture I have to gernerate a new link and embed this at my page. But I need this automativlly done.
Is it better to use googledrive, althought I didnt manage to get a working link yet.

    Thanks

  • Hi @anbad2 ,

Yes, it’s possible with google drive. To do so, simply follow the steps below:

    1. Upload image to Google Drive and get it shared link, e.g. //drive.google.com/file/d/13fsuM8xB30F5OuqZHLEhqKIXNXMzL_re/view?usp=sharing
    2. Replace file/d/ into uc?id=, your shared link should be like //drive.google.com/uc?id=13fsuM8xB30F5OuqZHLEhqKIXNXMzL_re
    3. Insert the file URL into content
    4. To update the file on Google Drive, right-click on it and choose Manage version, then Upload the new version
    5. The image’s new version will be shown on your WordPress content autmatically as a result

Let me know if it works for you.

    Hi,
I could not manage that wordpress is showing the picture. I dont knwo whats wrong with the google link. It appears that google gives not just a link to a picture but a link to a viewer which shows the picture. Therefor the picture could not be embedded into wordpress. The OneDrive-link works just fine.
Because of this problem I counld test your solution.
I have to test again in the evening.
    Thank you.
