How to embed mp4 video from Amazon S3?

  • I’ve been checking out forums and blogs for the last
    few days but yet to find a way to embed mp4 files
    hosted on Amazon S3.

    I’ve tried six or seven plugins but none of them
    worked in this particular case. There were a few
    success stories but they involved now obsolete
    plugins/workflows.

    Has anyone managed to do something like this
    recently? (WordPress 3.x, Firefox 3.6+, IE8, etc)
