The optin form is easy to create and looks very professional – love it.
But I haven’t been able to figure out how to position it in a specific area on the page.

The “Form Placement” section does not have the option to place the form in the sidebar or add it to an existing Widget sidebar. How do I do this? Can the shortcode [optinform] be used to do this?

    Thanks for helping out!

  • Hi Zeenat,

thank you! Yes, you can add the form to the sidebar, or any other widgetized area, by using the shortcode [optinform].

However, the five existing form designs are all horizontal, meant for inclusion in content of posts and pages. We’re working on adding more designs, including some vertical designs.

Hope this answers your question ??

Wow, that was quick – thanks.

I found a helpful post here on how to add shortcodes to the sidebar: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-make-shortcodes-work-in-a-widget?replies=4

Yup, a vertical design would look better in the sidebar, but it works okay even with a horizontal one for now. I adjusted the width to make it work since its nicer looking than other optin forms I’ve tried. Can’t wait for the vertical designs!

    Hi Zeenat,

no additional steps are required, the code is already built into the plugin ??

I’ll update you once the designs get an update!

    Glad you got it working.
