How to Enabale/Use Sidebar for woocommerce

    I made a theme which is integrated with WooCommerce what should I do to enable WooCommerce sidebar? should I make sidebar-shop.php and use get_sidebar(); ?
    I can not see layout left-sidebar right-sidebar in customization
    even adding some test codes does not change archive-product.php or content-product-cat.php
    only woocommerce.php can accept changes. what should I do?
    I searched about it and the methods were really old and did not work.

  • Hey @saeedtj,

    Great question. Typically sidebars are controlled by themes.

    Here’s a trick I used to use when it was tough to determine what sidebar appeared on a particular page. I would add a text widget to each sidebar with the name of the sidebar in it. Then I would view the page and see which sidebar appeared. That way I would know which one to use for that spot.
