I want Google analytics to track the data once people consent to cookies, but even when I click on functional cookie only, it is still tracking when I use google analytics plugin. How can I use analytics in this way?

    Hi @b1026q9,

There are couple of ways to achieve this when you add the analytics code with Complianz. It will be done automatically if you select the EU as a region, and Germany as a subregion. If you don’t select Germany as a subregion, the GDPR allows Analytics to be set before consent if Analytics is configured for GDPR. This is checked with the question under Wizard-Cookies-Statistics. If you want to set Analytics after consent, uncheck those checkboxes.

If you’re adding Analytics with another plugin, please let me know which one so I can tell you how to set it up, maybe there’s an integration and you can find instructions on our website.

    Let me know!

    Hey, Aert,
i have implemented analytics with the site kit from google.

I would like to configure it so that no cookie is set before the user accepts it.

Currently Analytics Coocies and “complianz_policy_id” are set before accepting. I do not want this.

    Can you help me there?

    Hi @bigbensnake,

    Please check: https://complianz.io/configuring-google-site-kit/

And for complianz_policy_id. This is needed for cookie management and is functional, removing it will make consent management impossible.

    regards Aert

Thanks for help. It works fine ??
