I went to check my page to find it missing and an internal server message instead. I spoke with godaddy.

GODADDY: Please note, that while we do provide a sample of code for a Web.Config file, we cannot provide you with specific code that would need to be added to your Web.Config file (as you may need to place the directives in specific locations along with your existing directives). [Note: Their sample code did not work]. I suggest using a search engine for assistance on how to enable detailed errors on Windows IIS8 in a Web.Config file. Once you have detailed errors enabled you should be able to further diagnose what is causing your 500 Internal Server Error.

    My website https://www.atp-admin.com.

-I cannot directly login to wordpress- I get an error message
-I removed all plugins via FTP
-I have tried half a dozen of search engine suggested codes with no changes to the error reading

I have the same issue with web.config file on GoDaddy. Did you find a resolution for it?

    Thanks.

I wish I knew what worked. I guess I finally landed a decent chat tech on godaddy. He said he altered some stuff on my account- never told me what it was!

Thanks. I have tried a few different codes in the web.config file, but no luck.
