• I’m having a hard time to solve what is supposed to be a simple issue.
I’m running a buddypress multi site installation with many registered users on https://www.sitea.net
I’m having another site: https://www.siteb.com with subdomain installation:
    jobs.siteb.com and events.siteb.com

I want to enable my registered users of the main site: https://www.sitea.net to login to jobs.siteb.com and events.siteb.com with the same user name and password they created for the main site.

That’s all I need! If you can please help me solve the issue?

  • They’ll definitely be able to log in and comment as themselves on all of the sites in the multi-site. If you want them to have assigned roles on all of the sites within a multi-site, you could try something like this.

    Thanks for your answer.
Seems to be obvious but cannot make it work.
Users of my main site cannot login to the other sites.
Maybe I’m doing something wrong on the settings process of adding a site to a multi site.
I have an existing site which looks like this: https://jobs.mysite.com
My main multi site is: https://www.mysite.net

1/ How can I add jobs.mysite.com to mysite.net? Seems that I can only add subdomains of mysite.net but no other external sites?

Maybe there’s something I missed on the server settings or something like that?

Oh. jobs is a separate site?

We were assuming it was a part of the multisite.
