How to encode digital products URL?

Hi everyone,

I’m using woocommerce to distribute a digital product and I just realized that when I click on “Choose File” to select the digital file (uploaded via wordpress), the url is unprotected. By that, I mean that if I copy past the URL in the browser, I can download the product directly without going through Woocommerce.

Woocommerce does mention that:

” This is the URL or absolute path to the file which customers will get access to. URLs entered here should already be encoded. ”

How can I encode my product urls so the files are only accessible via the woocommerce funnel and not by simply copy pasting into the browser?
