• Hey community,
So I’m getting fairly close to being ready to launch my website, however I recently realized that what I see when I load my webpage is often very different from what others see on their computers!
My menu bar does not remain spread out in the middle, and my main image slider doesn’t scale (oddly enough it scales on SOME pages, but not on the home page??)

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions!
    Would greatly appreciate any help

  • If you want your site to be scalable (also known as responsive) you’ll need to use a theme that’s responsive.

Looking at your theme, I can see that the description states:

A completely fluid and clean theme designed to fit almost any screen, making all of its content adaptable to the browser window. It comes with some useful templates, supports widget areas both in the sidebar and the footer, and includes a flexible customization page.

So your theme is fluid but not responsive. I think that it will be great for 95% of your users, but I don’t think that you can guarantee 100% scalable.

If you have a look at the Twenty Twelve theme, you can see an example of responsive site.
