• I want to embed a graphic and I have the embed code. I’m trying to figure out how to enter it. Some old posts on the subject refer to View and HTML tabs, but I have View and Text tabs instead.

How to I enter this embed code into a blog post?

  • Use the Text Editor and then do not ever use the Visual Editor on this Post.

Thanks, Esmi — I’ve done that, but the embedded graphic doesn’t appear when I preview the post. Do I ned to use and tags around the embed HTML code?

No. The Text tab supports all HTML markup. It might help if we knew what it is that you are trying to embed.

    <div class="moz-chart-embed" data-chart="correlation" data-height="2900px" data-title="Search Engine Correlation Data">Thanks to the folks at Moz for this.</div>

Oops! I’ve removed something I stuck in there inadvertently. This is the code:

    <div class="moz-chart-embed" data-chart="correlation" data-height="2900px" data-title="Search Engine Correlation Data"></div>

That markup isn’t actually embedding anything. It’s just setting up a div for something.

Oops! Somehow I lost part of the code. I’ll be that’s my problem.

Sure enough, that was it! Sorry for wasting your time!
