How to Exclude

    Hi Tiguan…

    Installed Speed Booster after switching security plugin to Wordfence and finding a suggestion to install Speed Booster in combo w/Wordfence.

    The combo is working very nicely! Of course I want more speed<G>!!!

    I have two plugins, one that provides a popup lightbox feature and the other is a slider.

    The lightbox feature turns into an opening of an external link on the same page and the slider does not show up when I have either the Move scripts to footer or defer parsing of java activated.

    This is nothing new, and had the same issue when I was using the “Autoptimize” plugin.

    Is there a way I can exclude these two plugins and their associated java from the defer parsing and move features? These two features are kick ass great and really make a big difference in my site load times, so would like to use them.

    If this takes some extra coding I would be glad to pay you for it!

    No need to pay for it, I’m already thinking of a clean way to exclude certain js files, but in a such manner that to not affect Google Page Speed score.

    Can you tell me what is the name of the slider you use and doesn’t work with plugin options active? I already tested few free sliders and they all work. However, I’m going to do some testing with some new features of the plugin.

    The slider is “SliderPro”. It’s not free, but I can send you the files if you want to test. Here is a link: https://codecanyon.net/item/slider-pro-wordpress-premium-slider-plugin/253501

    The other plugin that is at issue is WP RSS Multimporter. The lightbox (or thickbox…not sure which) feature stops functioning and instead opens the link in the current window.

    I will also check some other items that I use, like popups, to make sure that they are working properly. I will let you know if there are any issues after testing.

    great plugin. very helpful for speed improvement.
    i have a similar issue.
    a slider called “flexslider” which is included in my theme doesn’t work.
    is there a way to exclude some javascript files? maybe in php files of the plugin.

    SBP v2.5 has now the option to exclude certain js files.
