How to exclude categories?

    If your product is not listed under any categories, it would be listed under Uncategorized. You can check this under Products > Categories.

    Then, browsing it this will be the URL: https://yoursite.com/shop/uncategorized/product/

    In your use case, you could change the permalink settings of your site by going to Settings > Permalinks and changing it to Default or Shop Base which will provide this URL structure: https://yoursite.com/product/sample-product/ or https://yoursite.com/shop/sample-product/ respectively omitting the category totally.
