    Hi there,

I have downloaded the Portfolio Slideshow.
Everything is set up and installed ok.
However I just wondered how you can exclude certain images from being included in the slideshow?
For example, there are related images which have been used as the feature images and images within the body of my post.
However the plugin does not allow me to discount these images.
Is there any way that this can be done?

    Many Thanks,
    Li

  • Read the documentation (In WordPress Backend go to Options>Slideshow Pro and click the tab “Documentation”

    it says:

    [portfolio_slideshow exclude=”1,2,3,4″]

You need to specify the attachment ID, which you can find in yourMedia Library by hovering over the thumbnail. You can only include attachments which are attached to the current post. Do not use these attributes simultaneously, they are mutually exclusive.

There is also an “Exclude from slideshow” checkbox in the image uploader. Instead of including or excluding slides from your slideshow, you may want to consider adding a standalone slideshow with just the images you need and inserting that instead.

Is the “Exclude from slideshow” checkbox in the image uploader present only if using the Pro version? I’m asking because I don’t see it and I’m using the free version. Thanks
