How to Exclude Pages

  • Love the plugin. Question though.

    I have two pages on my site where the plugin created a post and has the option to reply at the bottom of the page. Neither page allows comments. I did delete the posts from the forum hoping that would remove the link. I have another page with the same settings and it doesn’t have the replies option at the bottom. I’ve looked through the Discussions options, but I’m not seeing where I can exclude pages.

  • Hi QTipPoker –

    There isn’t currently a user interface for choosing whether pages will automatically have topics created. In the meantime, you can remove the topic for any post or page using the Discussion metabox on the post/page editor screen.

    I’d be happy if there would be some kind of code for the functions.php or any automated thing, too –
    I have 10 different staffers and they are not all technically advanced and have the overview to disable it every time. Especially because the box is checked again whenever you edit the page again, even if you deactivated it before.
