    Hi there,

We can set up the “Posts page” on the backend and that page is included on “post-sitemap.xml” by default.
Is there a way we can exclude that page from “post-sitemap.xml” and include on “page-sitemap.xml”

    Thanks in advance

    Hello @suryamaya,

Thanks for reaching out. If your homepage and posts page are set to display a static page,?the “Posts page” will be included in the post-sitemap. Editing it and choosing NO for the option Allow search engines to show this content in search results? in the advanced tab of the Yoast SEO meta box will remove it from the sitemap

    Hi @maybellyne

When we use filter “wpseo_exclude_from_sitemap_by_post_ids” it deletes the id we add but it adds one more homepage link so there are now to homepage links on “page-sitemap.xml” i.e. we now see two links for https://www.abc.com? Is this a plugin bug or is there something missing?

    Thanks
