    Hello

I see that you insert [toc] into any given page to add the table of contents, however, how and where do you exclude titles from displaying?

    I see you mention,

“`Use the ‘exclude headings’ option if you would like to ignore certain headings. Separate multiple headings with a pipe |. Use an asterisk * as a wildcard to match other text. Note that this is not case sensitive. Some examples include:

Fruit* ignore headings starting with Fruit
*Fruit Diet* ignore headings with Fruit Diet somewhere in the heading
Apple Tree|Oranges|Yellow Bananas ignore headings that are exactly Apple Tree, Oranges or Yellow Bananas`

..Do you somehow incorporate this into the [toc] shortcode and do this on a page by page basis?

…or do you need to add all the titles you ever want to exclude into the one “Exclude Headings” box on the admin page. I’m hoping it’s not the latter as this “Exclude Headings” box can grow to be something very large and unwieldy.

    thank you,
    Matt
