How to exclude ultimate member profile from Comment authors ?

  • Sir, I use almost all of the features of the Plugin and I like everything about it. But now I want to exclude it from comments. I want my comment author link to behave as the default WordPress way. I don’t want to point the comment author to the user profile of the plugin.
    How I do that? please help…

    Hi @bikram00,

    Have you tried to disable “Automatically redirect author page to their profile? ” in Ultimate member -> Settings -> Genereal -> Users section?

    Yes, I have disabled it. I have checked and found that it works for post author on author bio or on the post meta field. But on the user comment section, it doesn’t.

    By default UM install, the comment author pulls the profile link (mysite.com/user/).

    I want my comment settings and WP-core-comment features to be untouched. I think I have to customize the plugin a little bit.

    Can you help? Please…
