How to exclude /wc-api/ when using cdn enabler with cloudfront?

Hi I am trying to use the official WooCommerce Social Login plugin. However, whenever you click a button (e.g Facebook,) it redirects to Cloudfront CDN URL. Per the troubleshooting instructions here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-social-login/#section-13
I have tried to exclude the /wc-api/* directory to no avail. Am using cache enabler and Autoptimize also if that helps. Please advise. thanks
