Hi, I’m having trouble with my site cache. The problem occurs when creating entries.

When I try to create a first entry all right. But when I am creating the second entry, let’s say that in the next minute it acquires the slug from the previous entry so that if I change it and I make the second entry, when I publish it the first entry is updated with the content of the second one, it overwrites the first entry. I imagine this is because the address /wp-admin/post-new. php is in cache and continues with the “edit” being the post already published.

I also have a “WP Super Cache” cache plugin installed. But when I clean the cache of that plugin the problem is not solved. The problem is solved when I clean the Autoptimize cache

not entirely sure what is happening, but Autoptimize only caches JS/ CSS (not pages) and it does not do any JS/CSS optimization (and caching of those) on /wp-admin/ @zontir, but when clearing Autoptimize’s cache, AO will try to clear other caches as well, so that might explain what your are seeing maybe?

So the problem doesn’t lie in this plugin?
The truth is that I don’t know how to identify the problem to make sure it’s the plugin. I just realized that the problem was solved by trying to clean the cache with your plugin. Maybe I should ask the WP Super Cache support.

well, i noticed that WPSC’s cache is not always cleared if I click on it in the admin-bar, but going to the WPSC’s settings page and clearing it there (under “contents” I think) does work, maybe try that?

The problem is also solved from the configuration as you indicate.

Does that mean it’s the cause of the problem?

It means the problem is with the pages being cached, clearing WPSC’s cache from the settings-page works indeed.

    enjoy your sunday ??
