    Hello

    Great plugin which I have used several times.

    I am having an issue with backing up the main website which has several other websites inside the root. ?? not sure if you understand what i mean. this is how things look in filezilla.

    www
    -website1
    -wesbite2
    -website3
    -website4
    -wp-admin
    -wp-content
    -wp-includes
    -wp-snapshot

    When I try to make a backup with duplicator it works on all websites, but on the main website it does not work as i think it times out.

    How do i exclude the websites within the root from being added to the backup ?

    I have tried this in the exclude area in the plugin but then it only backs up the database. Any help please.

    /home/mainwebsite/public_html/website1;
    /home/mainwebsite/public_html/website2;
    /home/mainwebsite/public_html/website3;
    /home/mainwebsite/public_html/website4;

    just to update.

    I have done a pre zip check and it shows:

    Pre-Zip Size: 792.51MB 28,081 Files, 3,227 Folders

    It looks like it is trying to back up all my websites as they are in the root of the other main website.

    Hey zen200,

    Yeah that is probably going to be to much data. So when you try to exclude only /home/mainwebsite/public_html/website1; it also excludes the root items like wp-admin?

    Hello,

    you are correct.

    It excludes everything and makes a package about 174kb ?

    Any idea why it excludes root files like wp-admin ?

    Not sure how to go about getting around this ?

    If you want to submit a support ticket I can look more closely at this issue for you…
