How to export and import comments

  • Hi,
    I have two instances of wordpress and I would like to delete one.
    First instance will be deleted, second will stay.
    But I just only want to save “Guestbook” comments from the first wordpress.

    How to export comments only from one installation and then import it to another ?

    Hi all,
    I found that the easiest and safe way is simply to do SQL export from wp-comments table via PhpMyAdmin, then import it again to other database and eventually change ID of “guestbook” page.

    Dont’t forget to empy spam/trash in comments to reduce unecessary content.
