• Hello,
I have been using All-In-One-Event Calendar for a few years now for our website. We have built a new website, and would like to move the events that are currently imputed into that calendar and import that data into the All-In-One-Event Calendar on our new website.
I tried it but was unsuccessful. I am also getting an error when I try to switch months:
Something went wrong while fetching events
    The request is 404
The error thrown was: Not Found

  • I have the same problem. The ICS solution determines the old site have to be up and running (not possible). Using the standard Worpress export/import option ends up in a mess. The imported events are not visible in the new websites events list (only the first of a full page).

Hope there is a simple solution.

I too have the same problem. ICS is not the solution as Knopenman says. It is possible to save the data as an xml file, but how do you then import it into the new site?

Support here is very slow, does anyone know how to do this? Thank you.

    Hi,

You can use the “Subscribe” button to export/import events:
    – Export: https://time.ly/document/user-guide/using-calendar/exporting-events-calendar/
    – Import: https://time.ly/document/user-guide/using-calendar/importing-events-calendars/

The other way is to move the database tables:
    wp_term_relationships, wp_term_taxonomy, wp_terms(Categories and Tags) and wp_posts table, wp_posts, wp_ai1ec_events and wp_ai1ec_event_instances tables.

The default WordPress export feature does not work best when it comes to custom post types.

Thanks Benjamin, but this is not what we want, and I have seen that page already.

The point is that if we export an ics file and import it into the newly created site that’s fine. But as soon as the old site goes, the ics feed will go. What we want to do is move the entire calendar onto a newly updated site on a different URL.

So I will follow your advice to move the database tables. Thank you, I’ll report back!

Sorry Benjamin, could, you give me a clue where I can find these files, because I can’t see them anywhere. Thank you.

Hi 2005wcbs – does it solve your problem to know that you can subscribe – get the events across, and then delete the feed but select the option to KEEP the events?

Thanks Pashmina, I didn’t know that. I’ll try it out, thanks.

I have tried this and have the URL of the calendar. But when I try to import it I get an error: Failure when receiving data from the peer. What do I do now? Thank you.
