How to extend purge beyond one day

    First, I’ve tried many cache plugins and this one is tops1 Easy to install and easy to administer. Now, I have a large site with mostly static information that doesn’t change frequently. Most of it remains static for months. My desire is to be able to not purge the cache so frequently. Is this possible? Or is this something to consider for a future release?

    If you set the timeout and uncheck the “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published” option, your cache will never been deleted.

    WOW! That’s just perfect. Let me play it back to be sure I understand it. I can set the Timeout to anything (e.g., one hour, one day) and uncheck that other box and the cache won’t be deleted ever. That seems (to me) to be an outstanding, but undocumented feature. However, I assume that the cache will be cleared for any updated page or post. Please confirm. Thanks for being so prompt. Please also confirm the proper setting for ‘Timeout’. I’m wondering if it’s best to leave at the ‘Choose one’ setting.

    You DON’T set the Timeout and uncheck “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published”.

    If you do these, the cache will never been deleted

    Thank you for clarifying. I was hoping that it would delete just the page or post being updated. Now I understand it. Thanks for your help.
